Who are we?We are Team of six students with different backgrounds: engineering, semiotics, design, economics. As two parts of the team we come from AlmaCube University of Bologna and Warsaw Design Factory Warsaw University of Technology.

Who is our Company Partner?Company Partner in our project is Medicover Stomatologia, a company which provides high quality dental care in private offices.

What is our challenge?Our challenge was: How might we make people taking care of their teeth constantly and focusing more on prevention, as a part of their lifestyle? Our goal is to create oral care assistant which will detect oral diseases at the very early stage by self check up. This will let the patient have treatment without pain and low cost.

What is Daisy?Daisy is a device that helps you control and improve your oral health condition. Most importantly it helps you to reduce fear of going to the dentist! You know what to expect, you don’t have to be afraid of pain or unexpected procedures and costs. It gives you the opportunity to visit the dentist office with the knowledge of your oral health.

What services does Daisy offer?Daisy checks your oral health condition considering caries and periodontitis risk. It uses your saliva sample to monitor changes in your mouth. It keeps you on track with improving your oral health and implementing healthy behaviours into your lifestyle. In your mobile app you can find tips and monitor your oral situation.

What is the correct place to storage Daisy?The best would be keeping her in the bathroom, where you usually brush your teeth. All the informations about your oral condition and healthy tips you will find in your app.

How to use the Daisy test?To check your oral health condition, you need to turn the Daisy device on an using a stick touch the skin inside the mouth. It's best to put a stick between your cheek and gum. Then put the stick with your saliva sample inside the hall on the top of the Daisy device. That’s it! The result you can monitor in your phone app Daisy :)
