IMA has been for the last 50 years a global leader in the design and production of sophisticated automatic machines for the processing and packaging of cosmetics, tea, food and pharmaceutical products.

It covers almost 70% of the tea-bag manufacturing plants with a production rate of up to 600 tea-bags per minute.

 

IMA, whose headquarter and main facilities are in the heart of the Packaging Valley in Emilia-Romagna, Italy, is mostly into business to business selling, with partners and customers spread all over the world.

 

IMA group employs more than 6000 people in 45 manufacturing  plants spread in some of their 80 networked countries.

IMA group export 90% of their technologies which aim to improve the quality of life on the planet, reduce food waste, increase access to more effective drugs and to allow greater respect for the environment.

 

The company philosophy is based on research and innovation guiding their investments toward RD and thanks to that, they successfully patented more than 1700 technologies.
