How can Saint-Gobain better serve automotive Repair Centers?

The main customers of Saint-Gobain Brazil are Repair Centers (Sekurit or Non-Sekurit Partners) and Repair Center's final clients. Our subject was to understand the automotive glass repair chain in Brazil and try to improve this chain.

Therefore, we interviewed Repair Center's managers/owners, employees, and final customers. The data collection and analysis indicated improvement opportunities in the Repair Center's operations.

The project focused on improving the organization and operations of the Repair Centers so that they can enhance their services to the final customers.

Thereby, Vigia emerged as a perfect solution: an integrated app for the central management tasks a Repair Center must perform every day.

How to offer a better glass repair experience for vehicle fleets?

Working with the French subsidiary France Pare-Brise, we were tasked to improve the experience for customers with glass breakage on their company car.  As we made progress, time efficiency became the most important metric to consider.

Over the last 8 months, we have discovered the automotive glass replacement industry, meeting with repairmen, centers owners, drivers, fleet managers and other stakeholders. While at first intimidating, its complexity soon became as many aspects we could play with, opening up a multitude of paths to explore.

Ranging from contract management to dedicated services for professionals, we eventually chose to focus on ADAS calibration, an emerging issue for glass fitting centers impacting the customer experience. We have developed a transportable and ergonomic tool that is twice as efficient as current products.
