Our path
In reality, our journey didn't begin in 2019 with the Global Kick-off event of Sugar. It started way before, when each of us found the curiosity laying in our hearts that lead us to Design Thinking.
We have the mind of a 5 years old child, who sees the world with brand new eyes that, with every blink, finds something new to ask about, to know more, to learn and put hands on it.
We have the desire of changing the status quo, of producing innovative solutions to people's problems, of going beyond what is expected from us. That's our motivation for waking up everyday.
We had the great opportunity to have as a corporate partner the pharmaceutical company UCB, and to be presented with a challenge that touched the lives of a sometimes misunderstood and ignored population: people living with chronic silent rheumatic diseases.
We empathized with them, understood the pains and daily struggles that their condition brings to their life, and made the best of our efforts to generate a solution that might impact their journey through them.
Sugar Network provided more than a challenge. It made us learn, discover new skills, create empathy and connect with people from all over the world. It's been a life changing experience that we will carry with us forever.
